Or maybe because people who don’t live under a rock should have a passing familiarity with Saturday Night Live, since it’s an extremely famous cultural institution.

And because The original cast (which Garrett Morris is in) is probably the most famous in it’s history.

Or also because an American (you would think especially a black american) should know who the fuck Julian Bond is because he’s kind of an important and famous person in American History and especially in the history of the civil rights movement.

Or PERHAPS because the original description on the fucking gifset explains all of this, and it makes sense to do the fucking least amount of investigation (such as oh idk clicking the source) to find out what the hell you are talking about before you decide to be offended by something you don’t know literally anything about, completely devoid of ANY sort of context and create a stupid and ignorant opinion on the matter and share it others.

I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true! For example, you could pick up a book and read it. Or you could watch a documentary or historical presentation. You can also just ask simple questions when you encounter something you don’t know. For instance, “What is this gif from? I’d like to know what’s going on before I form some retarded opinion on it.”
